Empowering Umpqua Bank’s Branches with a Unified, Compliant CMS

Challenge and Solution: The challenge was to create a central custom CMS to manage digital content across 394 Umpqua Bank branches, ensuring compliance and regulatory approval for all content. My approach began with researching the roles and needs of content managers at both corporate and branch levels. I then designed the CMS to align with their workflows and business requirements.

By involving development leadership early in the design process, I ensured seamless collaboration and technical feasibility. The resulting CMS was praised as one of the most efficient and user-friendly systems ever implemented at the bank, providing organized control over content and ensuring regulatory compliance.
